Curtis was born to Carmencita Ojales from Bolinao Pangasinan in Australia as well as James Ernest Curtis Smith an Australian lawyer born July 25th, 1970 at Yarrawonga. In 1982, her father became married to Ojales. Jasmine who is her younger sister is an actress too.
